Enabling youth to become proficient in modern technology, while staying safe and having fun.  Focus is on providing new skills while aiding in the education of youth.

Computer Lab

Club members are able to access 12 computers with high speed internet.  Computers are used for homework help, research, typing practice and learning activities.  Netsmartz certification is required before being allowed access to computers.  Sign in and usage agreements are required of all those wishing to access our computer center.

Netsmartz

NetSmartz is a comprehensive program from BGCA and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. It teaches members Internet safety skills through engaging multimedia activities and offline interaction with Club professionals, in three age-appropriate modules:

  • Clicky’s Web World for ages 6 to 7
  • NetSmartz Rules for ages 8 to 12
  • NSTeens: I-360 for ages 13 to 18

Digital Arts

Using Digital Arts Suite software, Club members can develop creative and critical-thinking abilities as well as advanced technology skills by producing projects in Web design, graphic design, digital photography, music making or movie making.
